I write this blog to help growing leaders and managers become more effective and make a difference.
With twenty years experience teaching, coaching, leading, and managing, I have served in youth service, education advocacy, city planning, and faith-based nonprofits as well as held elected municipal office. I enjoy helping others discover and realize their own potential.
Currently I serve as Chief Operating Officer for Colorado UpLift, a nonprofit youth service organization with replicated affiliates in Oregon, Florida, New York, and Arizona.
I am a husband and father of a wonderful girl who currently attends Colorado State University. A proud Colorado native, I currently live in Denver, Colorado where I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, games of strategy and tactics, tea, and am slowly learning the patient art of bonsai.
